Throughout her career, Carolyn has demonstrated a deep commitment to working with children of diverse learning needs, focusing on those with social, emotional, and academic challenges. Carolyn has served in various roles, including teacher, assistant principal, principal, and central office administrator. Her experience spans all grade levels and includes overseeing special education teams. She has played a significant role in several key areas, such as Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and Individualized Education Plans (IEP). Her approach is rooted in collaboration and data-driven decision-making. Carolyn strongly believes in the power of a team approach and emphasizes the importance of using data to understand the underlying causes of academic or behavioral challenges, then developing targeted, child-centered plans for intervention.
